We are dedicated to serving the homeless and their beloved pets. We provide essential hot meals and winter supplies to help them survive the harsh conditions, and we also offer access to housing and veterinary care for their pets.

Ziva needs donations for Surgery

Christine, Ziva's owner, rescued her four years ago from Peace for Pups. As the saying goes, they rescued each other. It's rare for a female dog to have a urinary blockage, but Ziva's painful crisis has puzzled VEG, VCA, and now she is at VSC (Veterinary Specialty Center) for exploratory procedures and surgery. VEG estimates the cost at nearly $10,000. We need $3,000 to proceed with further exploration and treatment for the blockage, which may involve stones. Thank you for any donation amount.

Providing food for people and their beloved pets

Throughout the year, Angel Resource Connection offers nutritious meals to both people and their pets, aiming to prevent hunger.

Angel Resource Connection actively gathers warm winter coats for homeless pets and community members. Winter can be particularly harsh for those without shelter, and your generous support is essential in making a meaningful difference. The community has responded enthusiastically, donating many coats for both humans and dogs. We continue to provide vital resources, including sleeping bags, warm coats, and hot meals. Every donation directly aids homeless individuals and their pets, offering them some relief and comfort during the cold months.

It is both impractical and costly to criminalize homelessness. Such an approach fails to address the underlying issue of lack of housing and instead perpetuates the problem while increasing the risk of mental illness and depression.

Fines and jail time only serve to push the homeless further into poverty, as they are unable to pay the fines and end up with warrants that make it difficult to find employment or housing. Rather than criminalizing homelessness, we should focus on building trust and allowing nonprofits to serve the homeless without restrictions.

As a dedicated nonprofit with a mission to provide housing for the homeless, we believe in fostering a compassionate and inclusive community. Let's work together as a city to address this human rights issue and choose housing over handcuffs for the most vulnerable among us.
